I just boil them with a piece of bacon and a little salt until they are tender. About 20 minutes if they are still green and not dry at all, longer if some are a little dry.
I've never tried to saute beans. Have you ever done that with other beans?
No, but they taste so good raw that I hate to change that. I think they would be great just to add them raw to salad. They are mostly green, with just a few dark ones.
