Advice for a lighting Noob?

Hi there :)

I have absolutely no idea what I am doing when it comes to picking out a light. I have a fixture, and need to know what kind of bulb to get for it.

It's just your standard, everyday flourecent fixture. I attempted to look through the posts, but y'all are talking way over my head when it comes to this.

So, could someone tell me exactly what to look for when picking out a light for growing tomato seedlings? A link to a picute showing the box of a good type would be best :)

I assume you're going to transplant them outdoors later? If so, then ANY cool white or daylight (6500k) bulb will do. You don't need special bulbs if you're just growing seedlings for a short time indoors.
