Hi, I want to start some seed growing indoors but I do not get much light in my home. I have a decent amount of room on my kitchen counter tops. I was thinking I can buy some kind of mountable light to put under my cabinets and have the seedlings below. My question is, what kind of light do I buy? How far can the lights be away from the containers before it is not effective. Or should I ask how close do the lights need to be the seedlings? I am hoping I can get this done for under $30.

Is there some kind of grow box or something on the market for growing seedlings that has a light in it?
