Don't Overwater it!!

Pachira is a pretty tough plant, and it may grow back from the stem, but those leaves are already dead, so just cut them off. Until new shoots appear, keep it in bright light, but not heavy sunlight, and keep it barely moist, Not soaking. It won't need much water while it's regrowing, and too much water will rot the roots. That 'could' be household cleaner or air freshener damage. My mother is constantly spotting her houseplants with various sprays...
