Push away the potentially burned leaves. I've been doing third option. Am I doing it wrong?

Keyboarg, maybe a better explaination of your question would be of help. I really have no clue what you are referring to.

I'm talking about the distance between my cfl and plant leaves. Wondering if pushing the leaves away from the bulb is ok, or should I raise the cfl, or let some of the leaves burn
