| Hello, i want to start some vegetables from seed. I have sown in several trays and the brocolii have just come up. They are however very thin and tall. I am assuming that they might be searching for light. Sun does not reach the room, so the trays with seeds are in dark or when i am there under light from the room source. I would like to know if the vegetables (at least during their eraly stages of growth) can be grown under normal room light (1 economic bulb 30-40 watts). Thank you |

| I'm not experienced with broccoli, so take this with a grain of salt. As a rule of thumb, if seedlings are growing very thin and tall, it means they're not getting enough light. You'll need a light setup that keeps light on the plants. You can place the lights on a timer to save electricity. |
