| Anyone got good advice on how to determine when a plant is near its limit on time under your average fluorecent lights? (specifically, 2-bulb T8 32W 5000K)
Started some tomato and cucumber seeds (receiving 24hours of light per day), that I will be transplanting to a MH+HPS setting, and want to avoid leaving them under the fluorescents too long - but want to make sure they're ready for the MH bulb. |

| Addendum: average environmental conditions are around 73deg, 44% humidity. one or two days saw a max of 85 degrees. and a couple of days saw a min in the low 60's. the lowest humidity has been 33%, max around 50%. |

| I would say energy cost would be the only limiting factor for vegetables under fluorescents. Vegetables like much light. |

| Thanks. Any cues for making the move over to the MH light? |

| Once they reach about 12". |
