Color temperature change

Hi.

Some weeks ago I planted a couple of cherry tomato seeds. Now they are already quite big and should be transplanted into bigger pots. Also I decided to make my tomatoes a little greenhouse and put some fluorescent lights there. Right now now they are growing under 11W fluorescent lamp that I think is about 2700K. But now, when I start buying new lights for my plants, should I choose 2700K or 6400K? May the color temperature change cause some kind of stress to the plants?

I have also heard that actually cool white lights are better from warm white, because warm white has a lot of red spectrum and a little blue spectrum but cool white also has more red spectrum but more blue spectrum that warm white. Is it true? If it is then I could use 6400K lamps also during flowering stadium ...
