Metal Halide bulbs - does age matter?

Hi all -

I have a bunch of nice 150W metal halide bulbs - still new in the packages - that I was thinking of selling.

Their manufacture date is July 2009. If they've never been used, is the age of the bulbs of any importance?

They will do just fine...bulbs deteriorate out of usage.

Source: myself who has been growing indoors for over 10 years and gone through countless and countless HID bulbs of all sorts :)

Great - thanks so much! Just didn't want to be selling stuff that wouldn't be any good.
