Use the sunshed as soon as possible. The temps sound a bit low for most seedlings right now. Hardy plants would be OK now, but others should wait until the shed temp stays around 50F at night. Does the shed ventilate automatically? It will really heat up fast now the sun is getting strong.

The shed has a window and dutch door - but no automatic ventilation. In the middle of summer it gets wickedly hot in there. I lost a tray of plants which were sitting in 1 inch of water between Friday night and Sunday afternoon - pure evaporation and heat.

I'll check when our overnight lows are to be in the 50's. I'd hate to lose the tomato and pepper plants even before they hit the garden.

A simple Attic Exhaust Fan from Home Depot will solve your overheating problem.

The one I bought last year even has it's own thermostat. I have it set to come on at 80 degrees F.

By the way, can you post a picture of the Shed?
