Are these seedlings a lost cause?

In a fit of enthusiastic sowing I dumped a buch of seeds into a pot here on my desk at work (anise hyssop, summer savory, chives, and nasturtium). It seems everything came up yesterday too, though I can't tell anything apart except the nasturtium vs. "everything that isn't a nasturtium". But last time I tried something like this all the little seedlings became etiolated and died. They are under some fluorescent lights (about 12" away) and one desk lamp with a growlight in it (60 watt) also about 12" away).

I know it was foolish of me to start these guys in here on my desk without a plan; is there anything I can do to ensure they survive until I can harden them or...something? I've never hardened anything, but from reading forums I know that's what you do (if you didn't winter-sow them outside to begin with like I should have).

I don't really have any spot at home set up for them,

(nor do I have a basement) and it's a long time until warning of frost is over here in zone 5...

Thanks in advance from the newbie!
