My lighting cart has spots for two 40watt 48inch T12 fluorescents and 2 places for screw in blubs inbetween the T-12s. On the lower to tiers I used what was labled grow bulbs, which seen like they were just regular lights with a light blue costing...I don't know. They are made by Agro. Anyway, I've run out of space on the lower tiers, so today I got 2 more T-12s, and 2 compact fluorescent spiral bulbs, 120volt-19watt 6500k. The package says that 19watts = 75watt light output. It also says the bulbs provide cool white light. All thats just great, but the light it so bright that it's almost blinding to look at the bulbs, even indirectly. Is this light okay to use for germination and seedlings??
