Growing under Lights

Transplanting

I have lots of seeds ready to be transplanted into their own little pots. The weather outside is warm enough for them to be planted. Can I skip the transplanting stage and just put them in the ground from their starting trays or am I looking for disaster? I'm just looking at all the millions that need to be potted up! I'm lazy!

They certainly don't need to be transplanted twice, but you should make sure they are large enough before planting out into the garden. Tiny sprouts put into the garden to fend for themselves are likely to die. If they can't grow large enough where you have them now, then you'll need to prick out into a larger container.
