New at this and it's a SUCCESS

Last year I grew some annuals for my planters on a table in front of my west-facing picture window. They did OK (I thought), but needed lots of time to grow. My husband build me more of a "proper" grow stand with fluorescent lights to hold 16 flats of plants growing in expandable peat pots, so I started lots of annuals, thinking they'd need the same amount of time to grow as they did last year just in front of a window. Also bought heat mats for the seeds to germinate. WOW . .. the bacopa are BLOOMING in only 4 weeks, the petunias are ready to set bud. The browalia has had to be pruned back as it was TOO vigorous. LOL Lobelia is 4" tall, impatiens are 2" tall. I know for next year to start seeds LATER than what I did this year. LOL Doing lots of transplanting into solo cups. LOL
