When to Move Outside - In Plastic Greenhouse

krgallo

I have plants growing under lights, indoors. We have a plastic greenhouse that we plan to put them in once they go outdoors. It is very small, 3 ft x 3 ft x 2 ft, and consists of 2 shelves and a zippered plastic cover that goes over the entire "greenhouse". When can I move the plants outdoors in this greenhouse? Temps are low 40's at night (N. Virginia), but I planned to put a heavy comforter on top at night to keep them warm. Will this work? Do I have to take them in and out for weeks on end? Really don't want to (too lazy)! However, I want to keep them alive, so, advice?
