Watergal--are you out there?

I'd just like you to know, that thanks to you and the "sad seedling" thread, I'm now the proud owner of a 100 ft roll of 4 ft wide capillary matting. (It was the smallest I could find, honest!) I carved off a piece of it to start my seedling watering experiments. I suppose I'd better hide the roll before DH sees it!

Thanks for the tip! I'm very impressed by how the capillary matting is keeping my cell trays properly moist without me babysitting it. Now I'm trying to figure out how to gerryrig a capillary mat setup inside my cold frame to keep it all watered. The link below is a photo of all the plants I'm struggling to keep properly watered in the cold frame, and I'll probably be starting more inside the house as well. This is why I'm desperate enough to buy a roll of the stuff--I hate going through all this effort and then killing plants by lack of water!

Hey, I checked out your home page. You got that potting bench at Kmart?!?!? I have been dying for a nice one but too busy to build, too cheap to buy. I go to Kmart all the time (addicted to Martha Stewart seeds) but I've never seen a bench like that. Good find!
