Wow - I wish I could keep my GH at 70! I'm in Cincinnati and even with an exhaust fan, it gets in the mid-90s or higher. I do want to remove a window after this week and replace it with a screen.

Sounds like perhaps your babies have not developed great roots. I had a couple of seedlings that suffered a shock the first day but this morning they have mostly recovered (lost a couple of leaves!).

I try to use ferts low in Nitrogen so I don't get much foliage growth!

I didn't think they would need to be hardened off to go in the green house but maybe they do. Just put something directly over them to shade them from say 10-2 for a few days and they should be ok.

Raise the daytime humidity by spraying the walkways and ground under the benches with water. If that doesn't work, you can also spray the plants, benches, and glazing. But, make sure it dries out before nightfall to prevent diseases.

It was 106 inside the GH when I got home today. Both those in the front window and the ones in the back by Mylar looked fine. My guess is they are hardened off by now!

When I move plants from lights to the greenhouse, I cover them with a laundry basket for a few days. That cuts the light exposure by about 50%.
