germinating lower temp seeds

seafire1

I am sowing seeds for the first time. I have alot of flowers, salvia and hummingbirds type flowers. I noticed on some of the seed packets the temperature called for 55 degrees and said colder at night. My set up has a temp of 70 degrees (lights on a rack with plastic wrapped around it loosely to keep heat in) and some are sprouting after only 3 days. :) I pulled the 4 6-packs that want colder temps from under the lights tonight and set them under light but NOT enclosed in the plastic sheeting. I did leave the clear plastic lid on. They are in the basement and I believe it will stay at around 60 degrees. Is this ok? Or should they only be in colder temps at night and put back on the racks at 70 degrees during the day?? Here are what they are:

Agastache Purple Pygmy

Magnus Coneflower

Penstemon Barbatus Coccineus

Aguilegia Star Red

Thanks for any advice!!!

Pam
