Hi im wanting to grow my Areca palms with the help of flouresnt lights but im abit confused. Ive found a perfect floor standing lamp that I can move away at night that has a 4pin 840 conection with a 27w daylight bulb, is that good light spectrum or should I go for a cool white bulb? Aslo do I need higher watt bulb.

The palms sit about 8foot back from Sw window. Im in the northern hemisphere.
