I am growing indoors through the sweltering summer months as not much cool crops can survive the heat! I am also starting seeds for my fall outdoor crops indoors to create seedlings for transplant and for sale. This being said, and after reading many posts here, I have 4' long fluorescent fixtures and some F40 bulbs. The package lists them as GE F40T12 with light output at 1900 lumiens and supposed to be designed for plants. Is this gonna work or is there better solutions out there? The room I am gonna use gets plenty of afternoon sun but only about 4 hours of direct sun in the windows per day.
