I don't think I have ever properly hardened off my starts. I tend to just put them out in the shade all day and then bring them in at night. I thought maybe this time I would do it one of the recommended ways of giving them a few hours outside the first day and gradually increasing their exposure time.

My light set up is in a room across the house so I'd rather not return them to the lights as it is a hassle. Do I need to? Is the exposure during the hardening off providing enough light?

My starts look really great this year and I want to give them the best care.
