I'm sure this is a question that forum regulars see pretty often, so bear with me.

I'd like to build a small light stand for my mother for Christmas ( I procrastinate, so yes, it will take six months). Of course, I'm not really interested in spending big bucks, but I'm willing to put in some work to get everything together. I have six months, after all... :)

The primary residents of the stand will be african violets and other plants that take similar care, and seedlings in the early spring. The stand should be roughly two feet wide, fivish feet tall, and preferably be on wheels.

What ideas do you have? Have you seen plans for something that would suit?
