If you are trying to grow plants at night then the answer is yes. If you use artificial lighting but those that are specifically for plant growing; some of those of which can be bought actually for very little and use very small amounts of electricity, u can certainly do it. I know this because I have done it one time before using very powerful lights with 100% success and I'm doing it now to get the seedlings I planted big enough to where the stupid squirrels won't destroy them as they have EVERYTIME so far. These little 60 watt Phillips plant grow lights I picked up at Walmart work amazing! Not only have they made existing plants grow tremendously within only days, they have made seedlings that I thought were never going to sprout actually burst through the soil and completely sprouted! Don't know if this is what u u wondered but I thought I'd try. Good luck!
