Wow, overkill! The 1000W light would generally be suitable for covering about 25-50 square feet, more on low light plants.

Two feet from the plants may be OK, but it will depend on your reflector. Watch the plants carefully the first few days and move them further away at the slightest sign of crisping on the leaf tips. Also watch out for wilting, I'm guessing the plants are not really used to intense radiated heat and light, they may take some time to adapt.

See how they do at 4'. Two feet from a 1000W light could be really quite toasty. It could also bake away the humidity the plants need.

A lot of people use lights without the tempered glass safety shield, but I would use one, especially if the bulb is within reach or might be reached by some of the misting spray.
