Try a metal coat/hat rack. They come in many styles and I'll bet you could find one that somewhat matches the light. Or you may want a metal rack like this one.

Unfortunately many times hydro isn't "pretty". I could actually envision building a trellis out of wood, with storage for nutrients, etc.

This could be something as simple as a triangular foot with a center pole:

And an overhead beam, afterward you could get as fancy as you want. Make sure everything is well secured. On the same hand, keep in mind with a 400 watt you're looking at 9 sq feet, which is actually A LOT. And living in an apartment, be mindful of the water, as I've "flooded" my lab in my basement a few times accidentally knocking a pipe lose.

I just started another indoor grow to (see HID bhut grow). The above are good suggestions. In the past Ive simply bought some cheap PVC, elbows, and T's and made a rack to hang the HID from. Ill be doing it again in the next few weeks on this grow once the seeds sprout.

Here's an idea it took 5 minutes to draw with "Paint" and should take less than an hour to build out of PVC. You would need 2 elbows, 2Ts, 4 end caps and the lengths of PVC according to the dimensions you want.

Thanks guys!! I got sidetracked by a visit from my folks, but I think this is the weekend. Gonna try the PVC route for now, but I find the idea of a trellis intriguing--maybe a good winter project? Can't wait to get started on this.
