how much heat from 400w hps?

| so ive been growing under a UFO LED 90watt light in a 4x2' grow tent. i recently transferred my habanero seedlings in to their dwc buckets (about a week ago) and ive noticed that they have hardly grown at all. i think this light is preventing them from growth so ive been looking at purchasing a 400w hps kit (lumatek digital ballast, philips 400w bulb and 18" batwing reflector) but im wondering how much heat that bulb will put out? will it be too much for my grow tent? |
