I want to get one since they save on electricity and aren't so hot. Does anyone have any experience with them?
ALL BLUE LED Grow Light Panel 225 LED
12V or 110V-220V
Is it powerful enough?

i am using a 90watt ufo LED right now for my plants and it sucks. vegetative growth is quite slow. they claim that it is equivalent to a 400w hps but it is nowhere near that and i think the wavelength is slightly off. i would stick with CFL or MH/HPS.

OKay, so then what about Philips 120 Watt 120 Volt Agro BR40 Plant Grow Reflector Bulbs on a track (3 lights on the track). Would that be enough for about 100 seeds that I'd like to start? THanks, I'm obviously just starting out and I know nothing about this stuff. Dani

Does anyone have any experience with them? No, but I have experimented with Westinghouse Special Blue fluorescent lamps that are made for treating jaundiced babies. Plant growth sucks under these. |

dani, why not just get some T8 fluorescent bulbs? they are cheap, efficient and have been proven to be great at starting seeds.

That's exactly what I got! T8's yesterday with a reflector built in... sweet.
