200W compact fluorescent? You mean something like this? You'll need sunglasses to be in the same room and you'll probably need to mount it several feet away from the leaves to avoid burning them/

Or something like this? Actually only a 40W bulb. Not harmful but not a huge benefit to a large plant.

i did mean the 200w compact. I wanted as much light as possible because these are such large plants. Im not sure what Im gonna do...

I have a 400W in my dining room, and I dont need sunglasses......of course you cant look at it, but I live wiht it just fine.
