Now isn't everything in the UK 220volts? That makes it a little harder to find suitable ballasts.

Well, a few ballasts I've seen have a large range of volt inputs, from the volts in america to the mains here, 240v @ 60hz I think.

Yes, it is difficult to find suitable ballasts here, but it's the same with lighting in general. I know of two ballasts now, suitable for t5s, but not sure whether they're suitable for t5ho.

The other is http://www.bltdirect.co.uk/t5ball12.htm which tells you nothing whatsoever about the ballast.
