I didn't think I could do it, but a month ago I set out to make my basement into a green house with lots of growing lights and hopefully some plants would actually grow!

Well thanks to all of you that have posted information here as well as on other boards I have succeeded. It is so exciting to see all those new tiny sprouts popping up everywhere! I also managed to save some of the pepper plants and herbs I had growing outside. I moved them from the ground outside to pots in the basement about 2 weeks ago and they are actually thriving!

Here is a great big YEAAAAA to all of you and I want to encourage anyone that is thinking about doing the same to read all the posts you can. I started with the very last page and worked my way to the current page.

Hmmm... I think it might be time to put my outside table and chairs in the basement, a few potted plants around and ooohhh a summer oasis while it is snowing outside this winter =) yipppeeeee!!!!
