Another LED Light thread...

Hi everyone,

I've recently been considering experimenting with growing plants under LED lights. I've found this light that I'm interested in (See link).

However, the thing that concerns me the most is that its around 10,000K, whereas plants normally need 6,500K. So, would this light be useless for growing plants? Any other comments?

I don't know about the 10,000K bit but the claimed 40 watt would give about the same light as one 4 foot florescent bulb or one 40 watt -110 equivalent- CF, for about 4 dollars not 130.00
