Humidity is important, keep the domes on for maybe a week after the first seeds germinate. They also need light, make sure that the seeds are sown on the surface and the domes let in some light. Room temperature is fine, 60F-70F, but not much hotter than that. You don't need much light for germination, any window will do. After germination, the amount of light depends on the temperature. Warm temperatures need more light or else the seedlings stretch. Typically, at 70F, you need a fluorescent tube within a couple of inches of the seedlings. If you can drop the temperature to around 60F at night then you can use less light. Once the seedlings grow taller than a few inches, you will need to use more light placed further away. Double the number of tubes, use reflectors to get the light onto the plants, and you should be able to grown through to spring under the lights. Use a fan to reduce heat on the plants and to produce strong stems. And put the lights on a timer for 12-14 hours a day.

Daylilies are more or less them same, except that they need cold stratification for six weeks and can then take over a month to germinate.
