Shoplight HBSL-16

Help! I bought one of these at home depot today and plugged it in but nothing. Does this thing have a pull cord or something? I opened the fixture and saw nothing. Plugged it in and nothing. Also, it said when you unbox it to pull the sockets up till they click in place but the openings in the fixture are too large. What do I need to do to make this thing work?

I can't say for sure with this one, but any shoplight i've
ever bought at Home Depot does not have any sorta switch.

A couple things you can try -
Plug the light in in a fully dark room...if the ballast is
getting any power you should see a faint glow in the ends
of the bulbs.

Open the fixture and make sure all the wires that go to
bulb sockets are actually connected...(with the thing
unplugged of course) just pull on each wire (not real hard
tho) where it connects to the socket. If it pops out it
wasn't connected properly - just push it back in, then it
should be fine. (i've had this exact problem with new
lights before)

If nothing works...return to store as defective as the
unit probably is bad.

Can you take a picture of each end of them and upload them?

Well I was asking about this exact model since he's having trouble with this exact model. Pictures of something else aren't going to help us figure out what's wrong with his, right?

I'm not sure he's still around, though.
