Growing under Lights

Where's the plug

I just purchased a 4 foot shop light to use to germinate some daylily spider/unusual crosses, along with it I splurged and bought the grow lights (even though I read they are unnecessary but hey it's xmas)...So it is my intention to hang this light very close to my seeds...but alas...NO plug...can anyone direct me on how to wire this darn thing with a plug? And keep in mind that I am electrically challenged so keep all description to one or two syllable words if possible. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

Just a bare wire sticking out? That because they are intended to be attached to the ceiling and wired to a light switch. You need to buy a plug. You can get them at Home Depot.

How many wires are there in the power cord and what colour are they?
