Okie okie... so I call the gentleman at that website and he tells me I really don't need a cool white light... I just need two of the gro lux lights for my 4ft, 2 lamp fixture.

Can someone please take a look at the site and tell me what would be the perfect TWO BULBS to purchase (T12, 40 watts) for keeping my indoor plants healthy?

I wouldn't buy anything from that site. Too hard to figure out the specs on bulbs.

Home Depots sell a full range of fluorescent, compact fluorescent and T8/T12 tubes. They come in a variety of colors and wattages. Sylvania lamps and Philips lamps are carried by HD. Someone once told me that Gro-lux bulbs were stocked by their HD, so check there.

I personally used Philips Cool White and daylight bulbs for my plants, but switched over to compact fluorescents.

whats a T-10 and where do i find it

THey're relatively hard to find fluorescent bulbs, so you won't have much luck "finding" them locally most likely. It took me almost 10 minutes of lookin gonline to even locate someone who published any info or sold them. http://www.1800nybulbs.com/en-us/dept_29.html

Personally, if I was sticking with tubes I'd stick with T-12 or T-8, because of availability and pricing but T-10s are an option, too.

I am very new to this and so far I have had the nagging question about what the difference is in T4/5 and T8/12.

But now, you just told me get the cheap one's! T12/8 are just fine.
