I want to grow little bluestem, prairie dropseed and sideoats gramma inside under lights. I have successfully done this in the past. I always germinated them on top of my refrigerator where it is warm, then transplanted the seedlings into peat pots to grow under lights in my kitchen. I know I need warmth for germination, but would these grasses grow in my basement under lights if the basement is about 60 degrees or will that be too cold?
