Microgreen lighting requirments?

I've been searching around on google for a few hours now trying to get some information on light requirements for microgreens and having a difficult time tracking down any sort of consensus on the recommended levels. Most of what I see is very vague, something like 'hang shop lighting over your tray' or 'use CFL bulbs over a tray' with no clear consensus on how much is required, how much is overkill, or where the point of diminishing returns is.

So does anyone have any more specific recommendations for required light levels for vigorous growth? Has anyone grown microgreens using white LED's? If so, what type of emitters did you use and how hard did you drive them?

The reason I ask is I'm trying to outfit an unused shelf with a custom LED array tailored to suit. I'll have four 'racks', each one is about 3'x2', or about 6ftò.

I was thinking about using 3 vero 10's per level driven at 350ma. Each one should draw about 9w and put out the same amount of light as a 18-23w CFL or about 1300lm.

Thanks for your time

Cy
