unusual petal arrangement on 'Easter Lily'

| My wife brought home three potted "Easter Lilies" from church after the Easter service. They all appeared normal but after a few days we noticed one of the blooms had all the petals on one side, instead of the usual circular arrangement. I think it was one of the original blooms, but it might have been from a bud that opened later. At first, we thought some of the petals had fallen off but all six petals are there- just all on one side. Is this common and what might cause it? We'd been turning the pots in the bay window and none of the other blooms show any irregularities. |
