I ordered both 'Purple King' and 'Landini' last year. PK bloomed for me, but flowers were deformed and color was broken. With crazy weather we had last summer, it did not surprise me. 'Landini' is rather dark maroon than purple. The colors on my pics are pretty close to real.
As for 'Purple Prince', it is new, so nobody has an experience with it yet. I would not trust Van Bourgondien and Vesey's catalogs' pictures. These vendors are notorious for badly doctored pictures, misleading information, etc.

Hi! I bought Purple Prince two years ago and boy am I happy I did. The flowers are fairly big and the fragrance! Oh my... Is it ever strong! The color is a strong purple but more leaning towards burgundy than blue. The biggest of the two I have has 6 flowers on it this year and I am so looking forward to next year. I am only sad I did not buy more of them...

I have it and the color is purple but no were near as dark as shown in the catalog. But Purple Prince does have a powerful strong wonderful scent.
