Planting oriental hot lip lilys

Hello.I have two lily bulbs that i need to plant.I want to plant them in a pot inside if possible.I am wondering what i need to do to plant them and take care of them and what size pot that i need for them.I know nothing about growing them so if you can tell me everything that i need to know that would be great.If not can you refer me to a website that can help me to plant them?Thank You.

I just ordered four "Hot Lips" bulbs. I don't know if you can grow these inside without pre-chilling your bulbs first. I suspect that they will need 6-12 weeks in your refrigerator before bringing out to room temperature.
As for the potting them up, you should be able to place both bulbs in the same pot, 6-8 inches deep in normal potting soil. Make sure it has decent drainage holes. Place your pot in the fridge and keep at around 45 degrees for 6-8 weeks until you can see roots growing through the drainage holes. Then gradally bring them out to room temperature and keep watered, but not saturated.
Oriental lilies like a lot of sun.
