| I'm new to the planting thing and I chose to grow Red Dutch lilies. They've been doing very well i have one in a pot that has reached 12" and another that is only 5"...i noticed recently that at the very base of the stem the leaves are brown..I'm not sure if it's a normal thing or not because they're not withered or limp, just sticking straight up and...brown. I can't find any pictures of "undeveloped" lilies of my kind to know if this is normal or a possible case of leaf scorch...if it is leaf scorch is there something i can do to treat it?
Can somebody help me???

| Is it possible for you to post a pic of what you have...it may help us to determine if it is something to be concerned about. I know that bulbs in pots can be easily over watered and thus rot. flora2b |
