When they used to collapse in the office where I worked, the girls would water them and they'd stand up again. 'Dry' soil doesn't mean never water, it means don't keep them standing in water.

You might search in the Aroids Forum for information on spathiphyllum, it not being a true lily and all.

I agree. When mine droop, I water them and they perk right back up. They will bloom more in bright light but not direct sunlight. I bring mine inside for winter and it does fine and I have very little light.

The peace lily likes to be moist, the top inch or so of the soil to dry out, especially in winter. I think yours needs more water. It may need watered every 4 days with some light. It will like an east window to flower. I kept mine on a pebble tray kept moist for humidity. Good luck!

Can peace lilies be placed outside? If so, under what conditions?

They can, but you have to be VERY careful! My mom put one out on her shady front porch, not much heat, and it died after one day of that. It shouldnt get any sunlight and dont put out when the humidity is high.
