Flowering lilies from seed

I have raised a number of lilies (mostly Aurelian types from NZ seed) and they have grown well and made good sized bulbs. However, none of them show any sign of flowering, and I am wondering if it could be that they get no resting season in our tropical climate, where the only change through the year is the amount of rainfall (more in summer, less in winter).

Anything I might do to encourage flowering?

It is my understanding that they need a period of cool. You will need to dig them up and put them in the fridge for awhile, not unlike us northerners having to dig tropical bulbs to store over winter. Good luck!
