Anyone purchase from Happy Hollers? Already 2 negs at Daves garde

A while back I purchased lily bulbs from Happy Hollers Gardens. Since I had never heard of them, I checked reviews at Daves garden and only found one positive. Now there are 5 reviews and the last 2 reviews left are negative. Happy Hollers contacted 2 people letting them know the bulbs they ordered had already sprouted and would refund them by sending them a check. Both buyers received checks that bounced. After that, Happy Hollers sent one of them a payment through paypal, and payment was denied twice by paypal. These people are getting online orders everyday, but can't afford to refund buyers? Now I'm wondering if they are legit or scammers. Anyone know who I can report them to?

I don't know the answer to you question. I was so tempted to order from them but then decided not to..glad I didn't. I am finding that the best thing to do if ordering from a new unknown vendor, place a small order. That way if it goes bad, you are not out lots of $$'s.

AND if they require a minimum just don't happen here!

ADVICE: STAY AWAY from these sellers; they are nothing but trouble! My bulb order--made and paid for back in Feb-- was just cancelled by Happy Holler when I filed a dispute with paypal when they didnt answer my emails and I couldnt contact them by phone. When I discovered that Happy Holler's telephone number listed on paypal is no longer in service I was honestly concerned about their business being legitimate. I spent almost $150 for bulbs ordered and now have to wait for a refund. Another red flag for buyers: Happy Holler's Garden's first refund request was declined by their bank because of insufficent funds so Paypal has had to resubmit it. Topping it all off today Happy Holler sent me a very very personally nasty email. Every which way my transactions with this seller have been a most regrettable and awful experience. Buyer Beware!
