I think it's possible that if you can take a big enough clump of dirt with your bulbs and water well after planting you could get away with moving them and do fine. I'd water them well a day or so before digging them so you can get a reasonable clump of dirt with them.

I did move some in the spring one year when it was a move or lose em situation. I didn't lose any of them. I was very careful to get a big clump of dirt with them and they were fine. Some had a bit less bloom that normal, but at least I saved the bulbs.

If you keep enough dirt with them they'll be fine , or you may even decide to divide if the clumps are big enough , they'll still be fine , yes you may lose some blooms this year but so what , a beautifull lily bed is built on PATIENTS!!!!!!!

I've barerooted and divided in the early spring , just make sure the hole is well watered!
