Hi, seems we're moving in the last week of April/first of May. I have a Casa Blanca that we got at our wedding I absolutely don't want to lose... any hints on moving at this time of year? We're staying in the same town, Columbus OH area, zone 6... thanks...

When we moved I potted mine up. If it is one bulb a 12" pot will do.

RE: moving now

I had to move last June with a large pot with 2 or 3 4 foot tall stalks, complete with flowers. I put the pot in a jumbo trash bag, and tied it a closed as I could get it. I took a small car blanket, wrapped it gingerly around the stalks and flowers, and duct taped it closed. A few flowers got to crinkled to keep, but other than that, it came through the move with flying colors, and less than 1 cup of dirt spilled out into the truck, and this had to travel lieing on it's side, as it was too tall for my minivan.
