I'm trying to get some info. on this plant. I bought it this spring as a corm(?) at a nursery. Arum Sauromatum Venosum. If it had said pusitilla anywhere I would not have purchased it. There was a funky smell in the plant room, and my tough guy cat has refused to eat in there for about a week. Anyway, since it's been so nice for a couple of weeks I thought I'd put a couple of plants into pots outside and this was one of the first to go out.
Here's the packaging:
Here's my reality:
Not sure if you can see them, but it is COVERED in flies!! Gross!! I am ready to bury in the compost....then I thought, since it is poisonous, is it killing the flies?? Am I dreaming?
I'd really like to hear anyone's opinion or experience.
tia, Nancy.
