| I would like to know what the best way to store lilium bulbs. I tryed to store them in vermeulite last year but it roted. I live in quebec and would like to dig them up in oct. nov.and store them for the winter.Anna lisa |

| Lilium bulbs are hardy and do not require lifting and storage for the winter. In fact, they require a cold period to bloom properly the following summer. When the ground freezes, apply a 2-3 inche layer of mulch and they should be fine over the winter! Riz |
