What lily is this?

We received a beautiful lily plant from our neighbors after my father's recent passing. The stems are vertical with leaves along the stems. The leaves behind it are NOT part of the plant.)

Can you name it or tell me which type it is? I plan to give it a special spot in our yard.

It's a type of Asiatic lily. There are tons of names, so I cant give you that part. It is beautiful.

I agree -- definitely an Asiatic and not an Oriental or Orienpet.

    Thank you.

I believe I've found the name. I was at Armstrong Garden Centers today and saw some that look like mine, and I know the women who gave it to me also shop at Armstrong.

The name on the tag was "Mount Duckling".
