| I have several lilies that I think are Asiatic. Some of them have only one flower per stalk and some have multiple. I know the difference between Asiatic and Oriental lilies such as Stargazers so I know the single-flowered ones are not Oriental. Is the number of flowers per stalk and indication of type of Asiatic or is just individual species difference? Thanks for your input. |

| The number of flowers per stalk depends mainly on the size of the bulb. All true Lilies have multiple-flowered stalks. I like this site because it gives the bud count per bulb size for different Lily cultivars. See chart on the middle part of the page. |
